Penrose: Dawning

Penrose: Dawning is a short narrative game made during the 1 month long Narrat Game Jam 2! Play as Mick, a woman in her thirties who is returning to her hometown. Going out with a childhood friend, she wants to revisit a place she can no longer recall. Fair warning, there is general focus on dissociation in the story but not much else is said (or its left open to interpretation).

While some narrative paths were cut short due to time and some art done swiftly, this is a tiny taste of a world I have had for many years. I hope to make a proper series of 'chapters' that tell the entire story on Penrose, with more depth in the form of lots of art, skills, long branching dialog, and multiple endings/outcomes. Making this game was a great way to feel out the concept and know what did or didn't work well in the development process. 

Additionally, much thanks to Liana for making this engine-- making things is hard for me, and this is really my first 'big' realized project to make (and a game at that, as i have never made a game).
